The newly established Chair of Food Supply Chain Management (Prof. Christian Fikar) of the Faculty of Life Sciences: Food, Nutrition and Health at the University of Bayreuth (Campus in Kulmbach, Bavaria) is currently hiring:

a Doctoral Researcher (f/m/d) (75%) – Food Supply Chain Management: We are looking for a motivated junior scientist, having completed a Master’s degree with research interest in the field of quantitative food supply chain management (e.g., operations research, operations management, analytics). The position is available for 4 years starting as soon as possible.

a Research Associate / Lecturer (‘Akademischer Rat auf Zeit’) (f/m/d) (100%) – Food Supply Chain Management: We are looking for a highly motivated scientist, preferably having work experience at a postdoctoral level, with a proven track record in the field of quantitative food supply chain management (e.g., operations research, operations management, business analytics, data science). The position duration is for 6 years subject to a positive performance evaluation after 3 years (3+3) starting as soon as possible.
